The Twilight Movie Poster: Favorites With Teens
Over 25 million copies of Stephenie Meyer’s novel “Twilight” have been sold. A teen following grabbed onto the books hungrily, and most of these teens flocked to the movie adaption in November 2008. The resulting franchise has created a pop culture phenomenon that is an irresistible hit with teens and tweens.
Now that the movie has come out, there are countless items of movie memorabilia available. One of the most popular of these items is Twilight posters. These posters come in sizes and styles of all kinds. Many feature the now famous actors from the movie. s
Twilight posters are pictured with the images of Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart), and all your favorite Twilight characters. Many of these posters feature these main characters, mortal and immortal, staring deep into each other’s eyes with a passionate desire.
Twilight is a classic love story that is relevant to teens and has created a following similar to the demographic of the High School Musical movies. Teens love to put classic movie posters on their bedroom wall that show what they’re currently into. It’s a reflection of their personality in a way.
Two of the most popular movies with teens in 2008 were Twilight and The Dark Knight. It’s not certain which movie will sell more posters, but it’s probably safe to say that Twilight posters will be as popular if not more so than The Dark Knight posters. This has been because of the cultural following of teenage girls and boys that fell in love with the book and the movie concept of Twilight. It’s a modern day version of Romeo and Juliet with a cool twist.
The advertising posters for the film “Twilight” are arty and quite somber. This movie has really renewed the movie-going public’s interest in vampires. Teenagers empathize deeply with these characters and even wish to emulate them. They are enchanted by the unique love story involved here, so it is not at all surprising that they now wish to hang on their walls the depictions of that passion and romance which has captivated them.
