Fourth Of July Homemade Kids Crafts And Gift Ideas

It’s no secret that kids are creative because they want to explore and create things they can think of. They can express without fear or shame. We always wanted our child to express and develop their talents. This Independence Day, create ideas and help your kid create a homemade craft for the occasion.

As an adult it is our responsibility to ensure that the crafts and activities of our kids are safe and suitable to their age. I understand that finding that right activity or craft is not easy so I have listed some examples of what you may do on July 4th. I assure you these examples are easy, fun, not expensive yet rewarding.

Star-spangled Ride – Personalize your child’s bike by adding star cutouts, bells, garlands, straws and flags. This will make sure your child’s bike is fit for the celebration of our independence. These brings color and life to your child’s boring bike. Now she’ll be excited to go to the park and show her beautiful bike.

Homemade American Flag Fan – Have a small fanfare and ask kids to design their own patriotic flags. They may use the American flag as a model. Then wave flags and fans to commemorate the freedom of the country. These steps are easy, just cut out rectangles out of paper, design according to will and combine them using a pin.

Liberty Homemade Crown – Measure your child’s head circumference and use duct tape to create a beautiful crown out of flexible straws and garlands. Put a smile on your child’s face by helping them create this project. Take their photo and use an image editor to create a postcard or a card.

Independence Day Confetti Shower – Parties involves fireworks and surprises all the time. If you’re good in simple physics then the best craft is to a confetti launcher. This is a safe and really fun way of celebrating the Independence of our country. Children may fire up confetti’s over and over again.

Battery Operated Fireworks – Since kids cannot light fireworks, you may create a safe and effective craft to replace fireworks. Why not create a battery operated fireworks sparkler device? It may sound a bit technical but this is just easy. Buy some wired garlands with star design, attached the wires to a battery. Combine at least 15 garlands together and make sure it is panning out to create a fireworks effect. Fasten the end to a big pen or stick and place a little button switch to save the battery. Now you have an instant fireworks display for your kids to play all day.

Uncle Sam Stars and Stripes Hat – Help your child experience patriotism by helping him create a stars and stripes hat. Use sturdy paper; stick some colored papers that are blue, red and white to resemble the stripe of the flag. Cut out stars out of paper and stick them on the hat rim. Surely your child will enjoy parades with his own patriotic creation.

The Independence Day Robot – Children love super heroes and who doesn’t? So you may use things you normally find at your kitchen and help your child create an Independence Day robot. You only need used cans, a clear container and colorful utensils. Attach the container in the cans; make sure you use the container as the body and the cans as the head and legs. The container may be used to store cookies and the head can be used as the placeholder of colorful utensils. You child will definitely love this and he may even bring this robot everywhere.
